hooked on this one

I bought a bottle of ROCK RIVER MELODY after smelling a sample at an RDF event and being unable to forget that scent. It's thick like sap (not literally, but more in a sensory-associative way), grownup but definitely not old, and very very sexy. It's expensive lingerie and a stiff drink in a tumbler in your hotel room. That's how this smells. People are constantly complimenting me RRM and asking what it's called, and then I make them pull up the RDF website and go on a whole long spiel about this amazing brand that uses all sorts of unexpected ingredients and combinations and has great packaging and by the way really nice candles. I once did this inside of a La Labo store in Silverlake -- a woman was being helped to find a new perfume by an employee there and I was like "Not that you asked, but let me tell you about Regime des Fleurs." The La Labo employee did not appreciate that. Oh well!
